Figure Drawing Practice

Gearing up for Art Studio Tour which means lots of figure and gesture studies. Recently I’ve discovered the fun of short, 2-minutes gesture studies. It’s great exercise for the artist’s eye, distilling a figure down to a few essential lines of action and gesture.

After each session I go back and pick up some likely candidates for either windchimes or larger pieces. These two seem rather promising.
